My Current Sound

Posted by Wayne (Melbourne, Australia) on 13 May 2008 in Plants & Nature.

It was such a fine spring day,
down Louisiana way,
with fragrance divine, oh baby,
and such magnificent regalia,
oh so fine, Azalea.

Oh what a lovely sight,
in red, pink and white,
can't help but believe
that nothing evil can assail ya.
(You're) so nice, Azalea

You at ease on the knees
of the moss-covered trees,
whose tops met your mate on high
ceilings in the churchlike calm
of a cypress swamp.

I've yet
to get
that same strange feeling

I've got to go back there
and find that blossom fair,
I always dream of,
'cause with you who can be a failure.
My first love, Azalea.

I'm currently listening to the wonderfully smooth and brilliant sounds of the Duke and Satchmo...in particular their song 'Azalea'...its just such a beautiful piece. There really is nothing else quite like it in making me just want to sink back into my big old comfy chair with a nice cool drink in my hand and watch as the sun slowly sets over the city, pulling along its blanket of stars as it goes to sleep.

100% Pure Unadulterated Bliss.
