Ancient Spelling Errors

Posted by Wayne (Melbourne, Australia) on 1 February 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

I apologize to one and all...I've just noticed how many grammatical errors/spelling errors I've made when typing all my comments/blog messages/replies. I'll endeavor to read through my messages in future =)

Anyway, I thought in keeping with all those errors...I'd share with you a picture of some church ruins...which made me wonder about people who had to get things perfect...but who had to live a life without a spellchecker =)....somehow its funny to imagine some mason of old merrily tapping away and then out of the blue you hear an odd sounding tap followed by this resounding 'D'oh' a la Homer =D Its got a kinda of schedenfraude tone to it.

Anyway that's how I saw this shot on a second take =D....when I first took it...it was just a fairly plain piece of stone work...and now its a silent tribute to the lack of masonry spell-check functions =D
