Plane old Sunsets

I love plane rides...and I love flying...but I have a very dark secret. I love food and cooking...and the trick to cooking great food is using the very freshest of ingredients...except that...for some strange unexplainable reason I absolutely go GAH-GAH over plane food.

I know I know...its shocking and almost too horrible to comprehend...but I love those little tiny trays of fruit....the tiny starter sized main meals...everything all neatly packed away on a small tiny tray. I don't know why but I've always enjoyed plane food (pun intended). So I thought it was fitting to put up a shot that I took flying back to Melbourne some time back - now that I'm flying back to Melbourne again. Enjoy your Sundays!

Gah ! more food..well in the description anyway.
You food shots made me so hungry I Know I put on weight .
When I looked at the thumbnail of this photo I thought it was safe to come back, but I was wrong..now I have the urge to scourer the kitchen for neatly packaged food or at least make pudding .

Yes! Flying while the sun is setting is an absolutely bliss. I like plane food too.. esp SIA's..haha haagen dazs to end the meal!

for me, it depends on which airline - SQ food is not bad! :) maybe it's the cute small packaging that attracts you? like japanese bento!

@spots: Hmm SQ food is the bee's knees...But my love extends to all airline food...I think part of it is the japanese bento thing but...I just like it...its like tasty junk food =p

I love the color of the sky and how it is reflected a bit in the wing, somehow I also like the little inclination of the horizon and the wing, nice angles for the composition. Regarding plane food, I have had good experiences and bad ones, I think I prefer home food, or a nice restaurant!
