This post was inspired by M.E.'s post a coupla days back.
Its amazing how food (basically an essential of life) becomes the vehicle for good times and great joy. How simple ingredients, raw and individually inferior and incomplete, combined together to make wonderful taste explosions.
More to the point...it reminds me that while I am never an island...and the friends I break my bread with...have helped me and continue to help me be a better tasting dish to other people. =D

Yeah I love an excuse for a picnic =D this was my church's small group outing to see the fireworks on the banks of the Yarra River during the Moomba Water Festival we have over here..so we decided to go earlier and have an early picnic dinner =D I made an asian dish called Dry Mee Siam (not pictured here) whilst my good friend Hang Yuan made the chicken curry you see in the photo =D. Thankfully both dishes were well received =D
