This was taken at one of the national parks in victoria during a church small group retreat. I think there is a strange harmony and even great beauty in unintended consequences... Wikipedia, that somewhat dubious fount of all knowledge, lists 3 groups of unintended consequences...those that are positive, problematic or completely negative and inverse to the intended consequences.
I think with most things in life...its all about how you perceive it....the unintended consequences of your actions might bring about, God forbid, a problematic or even a negative outcome...but who's to say the outcome won't result in some other unintended consequence which may or may not be positive. And if you treat every opportunity as one that you can gain somethign out of, all the more better because you've done the real world equivalent of turning lead into gold.
So while I'm positive that the Park board certainly did not intend for their posts to rust away...it gives rise to great and unintended beauty.

@Still: Thanks Still =D
The rust has certainly given it depth and a wonderful tones! I have always believed that even in a bad situation you can think positive and perhaps turn the situation around or at least make it less bad...the power of positive thinking is truly amazing! Thanks Wayne!

Really nice carving there, cool shot Wayne, nice finding. Always think positive, and if you are in one of those days that you feel charged with lots of negative energy, I advise you to focus and transform that negative energy into something positive and creative!
