C is for CookiePosted by Wayne (Melbourne, Australia) on 4 September 2007 in Food & Cuisine and Portfolio. I can wax lyrical about cookies. I love how flexible and forgiving they are. Dress them up or dress them down they taste great...and when I make them...I do them without any real attention to measurements. I just go by taste (which generally speaking in the baking world is pretty much tantamount to heresy I think) and colour. If I feel like a triple chocolate cookie...then it's a triple chocolate coloured cookie with a mega overload of chocolate. If I like it chewy (which I do)...its out of the oven slightlier earlier..and into my mouth even faster...if its an order for extra crispy cookies then its stays for a while longer. This photo was taken on the same night as the Salmon Escalopes dish when I was teaching my friend, Rebecca, how to cook.
